Back in the 1990s, the American public became fascinated by all things SUV.

Sports utility vehicles dominated the automotive market, and have since continued to be a popular choice when it comes to performance, safety, and dependability.

Lexus entered the SUV scene with the LX line, which has evolved across a variety of models, each one named after its corresponding engine displacements.

The LX 470 was the first to introduce the off-roading potentials for Lexus, marketed by the tagline, “Go places mere mortals will never see.”

Keeping the ever-popular Toyota Landcruiser in mind, Lexus expanded its line to the LX 570, touted by Edmunds as “the biggest, most capable and most opulent sport-utility on the block.

The current 2015 model, available at Lexus dealers in PA continues to defend that reputation.
